Activity 2 The Plastic PledgeMum said "its great for the environment all the sea animals".
Sister said " She thinks its a good idea but it sucks for the people who have to buy the bags".
I think its a great idea because it is stopping people from throwing them out in their bin and then they fall out of their bin and go to the sea and hurt sea creatures.

ReplyDeleteFirst of all, I love that you have gone the extra mile and interviewed an extra person, as well as given your own thoughts and opinion about this topic, fantastic work! I love that your mum has thought about the animals in the sea, it's really important that we all talk about what we're dumping into our oceans and how it affects our friends who live in the sea. Did you know that if we continue to be so careless about our use and disposal of plastic, our oceans will have more plastic than fish by the year 2050. I hope everyone can work together and do their part in cleaning up our planet and preventing that from happening.
It's great to hear what your sister has to say. There are plenty of options available out there. You can buy reusable bags, that way, you only have to buy one strong and sturdy bag which you can use for years. It will be a much better option than using plastic bags which can end up out in the oceans. I like the way you have thought about this topic.
