Summer Learning Journey Week 3 Day 2

Activity 1
I see a chess board with black and white birds at the top and I see people on some of the squares as well I see two villages on each side. The board has a black side and a white side.

Activity 2My little brother broke his leg when he was 2. Me my brother and my sister were on the tramp and we accidentally double bounced him and he fell and landed on it the wrong way. Even though we were being gentle it was just bad luck by the way he landed. He screamed and cried and Mum and Dad came running outside to see what was happening. Once he settled a bit Mum and Dad took him to the hospital. He was very brave with it.Activity 3
I think the app is good its a bit hard but is fun to use.

  1. Hi Sophie

Well done for completing another days worth of activities. Great work with all three.

The image that you are describing is very interesting. There is so many different things to look at in it. It is a very busy painting.
Your little brother sounds like he was very brave also having the accident on the tramp. This would be such a common occurrence with kids and trampolines. Sometimes it just all comes down to luck and like you say even though you were being gentle they just land the wrong way.
How long was he in a cast for? Did he get to choose the colour?

It is great that you liked using the coding app. Maybe it is one of those things that the more that you use it the easier it gets. The shape you have finished up with is great!

Keep up the great work Sophie. It is great that you are doing the programme again this year for the third time. Thanks for all your effort.

    Until next time

    Allie :)

  2. Hello Allie
He was in a cast for 6 weeks. He got to choose the colour he choose red with green glitter because it was around Christmas. He had his cast on at Christmas and Santa and Rudolph signed it. Yeah I enjoy doing the summer learning journey and plan on doing it again.

  5. Hi Sophie,

It's Leisha here from the Summer Learning Journey.

We have noticed that you haven’t done any Summer Learning Journey activities for a while. Our programme finish date is the 24th of January so you still have plenty of time to complete some more activities and collect more points.

There are lots of great activities that I'm sure you will enjoy doing. I'm excited to see what ones you choose to do! Use this link to take you to the activities: https://sites.google.com/site/summerlearningjourney/weekly-activities

Remember, if you have any questions about any of the activities all you have to do is ask!

I am looking forward to seeing more posts from you over the next week!

    Leisha :)
