  2. Hey Sophie, my name is Billy and I am from the Summer Learning Journey programme. It's great to see that you've been blogging over the summer break. Thanks for sharing this Russian cathedral. It's really quite beautiful, is that what made you select it for this activity?

I liked reading your opinion on the voting situation for women in Saudi Arabia. I completely agree with you, women should be allowed to vote. It's a shame it took so long for them to be given the right to vote. 2015 is far too late.

Do you think the voting age in New Zealand should be lowered from 18?

    Thanks, Billy

  3. Hi Soph! (aka Sophie!)

Great to see you back at it! ...I have been looking forward to the return of your colourful writing and maybe even a couple more Sophie Art samples? :)
Hope you had an awesome Christmas and New Year break??

    Activity One:
Wow! What a colourful cathedral! I think the architecture is amazing..it almost looks like it belongs in a fantasy world! How cool would it be to visit this in real life? Would you like to do that?
It's okay that you weren't able to find some of the information, thank you for giving it a go and letting us know! (Maybe instead you could add a fun fact of your choice?)

    Activity Two:
Thank you for sharing your opinion on the voting Soph! I am glad that you think it is unfair - it would be pretty sad if this was still happening in New Zealand aye?
Wouldn't it have been cool if Kate Sheppard was able to get the vote for women all around the world instead of just New Zealand?

I am really excited that you have been back blogging Soph, keep up the awesome work!
    Ellee :)
