This is my colour poem I chose the colour green because their is a lot of stuff thats green.

My Trip To Christchurch

My Trip To Christchurch

On the first of January Mum, Dad, Leah, Jimmy and I went to Christchurch. We stayed at my Aunt's house in Richmond. We went to Christchurch for a holiday we were there for about 3 or 4 days. We done a lot of fun stuff while we were there but my favourite thing was hanging out with my family. While in Christchurch I saw my aunts Ria her partner Craig and my uncle Paul. We got to have a lot of laughs while in Christchurch and it was really fun.







On Wednesday we went to the malls and we had pita-pit and I brought a lot of clothes from postie. Pita pit is like wraps but like thick wraps. My wrap so good it was really filing and was really messy. We also got frozen cokes to have with our pita pit. After that my Mum went to get a coffee for her and my Dad and my brother got a biscuit. While me and my sister got the frozen cokes.





We went for a swim with my Aunt at Taylor's Mistake. The ocean was really cold but it was nice because that day and evening was really hot so we decided to go to Taylor's Mistake for a swim. I got smashed by a wave and it was really funny cause I fell backwards. My brother and sister had a lot of fun and my Dad just sat up in the sand and watched us and made sure no one stole our stuff. Swimming was really fun and nice.





On Thursday we had a decision of going to the Gondolas and Willow bank. We decided on Gondolas so we went to the Gondolas with my Uncle. We met up with my uncle for lunch then we went to the Gondolas. I went with my uncle to them. We got there then we went on the Gondola. Just before we were getting on I felt something bite me on my arm and I hit it. I felt it bite me again so I shook my sleeve. I got upset because it really hurt it felt like a bee sting but it wasn't. I was crying the whole time we were going up and my mum said I was just being stupid. When we got to the top I showed here and she felt sorry because she was telling me to stop being stupid. We asked the lady at the cafe if we could borrow some ice and a towel and they were really nice about it and gave me some. We got some ice cream and a drink then headed back down and went to the gift shop then we went back down the gondolas and said bye to my uncle.





On Friday we went to the Wildlife Park in Christchurch. We got to feed the farm animals and the birds. This Elgregoe magician guy was there but we didn’t get to see him because we got there to late. My favourite thing at the zoo was seeing the birds and the farm animals. My Dad sort of wrestled a bull and it was really funny. He grabbed its horns and was like pulling to each side. My Dad was a farmer for like 10 years so he knows about all the farm animals including bulls. He knew how to do it without hurting the bull. There were these bird things and my Dad was feeding them and it looked like it was about to jump on his head. My Dad feed the other one and then the other one got angry and started trying to steal the food.





Finally we went to New Brighton and had tea with my Uncle and Aunt. We also walked out to the end of the pier. There were a lot of people out on the pier fishing and catching things in the water. We also went to the park down by the pier and my Aunt went on the tramp things and it was funny. I almost hit a kid when I was on the swing because he walked out behind me. We got fish and chips for tea and we took them to my aunt's house and had tea. We would of stayed and ate at the shop but there was a few of us and there were a lot of people at the shop.





I loved my trip to Christchurch and I loved seeing my family. My overall thoughts on my trip is “it was fun and I loved having time away from home even know it wasn't that far away and it wasn't for long I still loved it.” My brothers favourite thing was the zoo. My sister’s favourite thing was when she got her ears pierced at one of the malls. My Aunt's favourite thing was seeing us and so was my Uncles. My Mum and Dad’s favourite thing was being away from home.

The Three Little Pigs New's Paper Article

Everyone in town and in the world are all thinking different things. Some people are saying that the pigs were purposely trying to hurt the wolf. Others are saying that they were protecting their property and if that was them they would of done the same thing. Everyone has a different opinion about it. Personally I think that


“ The pigs were just protecting their property and they shouldn't have to go to court.” There are also rumours going around that the wolf couldn't blow down the houses because he had asthma. I decided to report some people and see what they say so here are some.
“It isn’t right the three little pigs are the victims.”
“The wolf blew down two houses so the wolf deserved the punishment he got.”
“The three pigs went way to far.”
“Everyone should have the right to protect their property.”

I am a honest,friendly,creative and thoughtful person. When I am in a mood I get really negative and sad I also get a little bit angry and I always get hungry. When it's one of my good days I am happy,energetic and positive. Sometimes when I get happy it's normally when it's dinner time or when I'm with friends and family. I'm always tired and stressed at school. I am always tired in the morning when i wake up early and at night before bed. I have light brown hair that's tied up in a high ponytail. I have green blue eyes and freckles across my nose and across my face.

Romero Britto is most known for his artwork and sculptures of a pop art sort of style. Romero sold his first piece of art to his neighbour for $10 which was a start. He tried selling it to his teacher but she wouldn't. He was 14 when he sold his first piece of art. When he was younger there wasn't enough money to buy art supplies because there was nine kids but he found old paint and scrap paper to paint. Romero had a lot of good dreams when he was younger and he didn't think he would be famous through art but he was.
