Metaphor cards
These are the back of the get writing new Zealand cards that we sent to a school and they sent us some back. These are our schools ones we made.
These are the cards that got sent to our class.
These are my metaphors about me we sent.
Sophie is slow as a snail.
Sophie is crazy like a monkey.
Sophie is a lion at feeding time.
Sophie is lazy like a sloth.
These are some I wrote about our classroom to send to the other school.
Room 2 is an ocean, loud and unpredictable,
Room 2 is a gymnast flexible and strong,
Room 2 is as knowledgeable as a dictionary,
Room 2 is a mother panda guiding her children.

Omelettes
Omelettes
What You'll Need
3 large eggs
1 teaspoon water
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
1/2 cup shredded cheese- onion, ham mushroom (all optional)
cooking spray (or butter)
1. Beat eggs, water, salt, and pepper until light and fluffy.
2. Precook onion, mushroom ham etc. - in the pan with a little oil
3. Heat the pan with a little butter in
4. When pan is hot (but not smoking), pour the egg mixture in.
5. As the omelette starts to set, lift an edge of the omelette with a clean spatula and tilt the pan so that the runny, unset portion of the omelette can run underneath and start to set. Repeat on the opposite side. If adding vegetables or meats, do so now.
6. When the omelette is just about completely set, sprinkle the cheese over half of the omelette. Then fold the other half of the omelette over the cheese half.
7. Or you can leave it unfolded and put grated cheese on it and grill it.
The omelettes were so delicious. I had ham and onion in mine it was so good. It was that tasty I couldn't eat it all. Omelettes take about 5 minutes to cook. I would definitely make this for your family for breakfast one day. You can also double the recipe if you want and you can also make little ones. You can also make little ones for younger kids and if you have other stuff as well.

Bio Poem
Sophie
Creative, friendly, smart
Lover of puppies, cucumber and swimming
Who wonders if animals have a better life
Who fears of white tales
Who feels safe and comfy in my bed
Who cares homeless people are not aloud to have surgery if they don’t pay
Who dreams of being a famous artist
Who is able to be a better person
